THE market for basketry in Germany:
The Lichtenfels basketry market takes place every third weekend in September in Lichtenfels, Upper Franconia (Germany) and brings together basketmakers and basket lovers from all over Europe. You won’t find a larger range of basketry anywhere else. It’s definitely worth a visit! You can even book short basketmaking courses for the whole family.
